The short version: this website collects nothing about you or your child. No accounts, no cookies, no tracking, no ads, no forms.
Effective October 6, 2026. Emilia's Storybooks (“we”) runs this website and the YouTube channel of the same name.
What we collect
Nothing. This website has no sign-ups, no comments or chat, no newsletter, no analytics scripts, no advertising or social media code, and sets no cookies. There is nowhere on it to type personal information.
What our web host sees
Like every website, ours is delivered by a hosting service (Amazon Web Services' CloudFront). To send a page to your browser it necessarily receives technical details such as your IP address and browser type. We do not keep logs of these requests. We see only overall totals that cannot identify anyone, such as how many times a page was viewed and which countries visits came from.
Things kept on your device
The games may remember small settings on your own device, such as whether sounds are on or which crayon was picked, using your browser's storage. This never leaves your device and is never sent to us. Clearing your browser's data for this site removes it. A picture your child saves in Color with Emilia is saved to your device only.
YouTube videos
Story videos are hosted on YouTube. Until you tap a video's play button, nothing is loaded from YouTube or Google: the picture you see is served from our own site. When you tap play, the video plays in YouTube's privacy-enhanced player (youtube-nocookie.com), and YouTube's own privacy policy applies to what happens in the player. All of our videos are marked “made for kids”, and YouTube says it limits data collection on made-for-kids videos, for example by turning off personalized ads and comments. Children's privacy (COPPA)
This website is made for young children and their families. We do not collect, use or share personal information from children, or from anyone. Links that leave this site, and the area for grown-ups, sit behind a simple grown-up check. If we ever add something that collects information, such as an email newsletter for parents, it will be for adults only, behind the grown-up check, and we will update this policy before it starts.
If you email us
If you write to hello@emiliasstorybooks.com, your message is used only to answer you. It is not added to any list or shared. Mail sent to our address passes through our email service, which keeps its copy for no more than a day while forwarding it. Please don't let children write to us.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
